About Us

The St Clements University Campus Centre on Niue has been established to offer a wide range of university courses to the people of Niue in a semi-campus environment. It was licensed by the Minister of Education on the 30th of March 2005. The courses offered are distance learning programs taught with local tutors giving generic learning advice. Limited places are available to non-Niue residents via distance learning.

Niue is self-governing nation with parliamentary government and has been in free association with New Zealand since the 19th of October 1974. Niue is fully responsible for its internal affairs and New Zealand retains responsibility for external affairs and defence: however, these responsibilities confer no rights of control and are only exercised at the request of the Government of Niue.
